Remembrance Day Observance – Although it was a school holiday last Friday, the teachers had arranged for representatives of the children from schools in Creswick to attend the Remembrance Day service at the memorial column and they joined with others in placing wreaths on the memorial in honour of the dead of two world wars.
The Shire President, Cr. J. A. S. Geddes, gave a short address on the significance of the occasion. He was supported by Mr. F. James.
