CRESWICK-SMEATON RSL Activities
Region 8B meeting - 12 June 2014
The Victorian RSL is divided up into regions. Region 8B is the Ballarat Hub. This region consists of Ballarat, Meredith, Rokewood, Ballan, Creswick, Sebastopol, Buninyong, and Daylesford.
There is a meeting of all these clubs every 3 months and the meeting is rotated around each of the clubs. Last meeting was at Rokewood, this one was at our club and the next one is going to be at Clunes on Sep 11.
The aim is to discuss common issues and also to go over any issues from RSL HQ. Each club produces a report and this is recorded in the minutes of the meeting, which also goes to HQ. The report is mainly on activities within the club, membership numbers, any deaths, new members etc. Also any events that are forthcoming etc etc. At this meeting we had the RSL CEO and a member from the State executive attend.
