ANZAC COMMEMORATION

Anzac Day was named from the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps which landed at Gallipoli.

It is the anniversary of the day in 1915 when Australians in unity of purpose, first stood with other nations in active defence of freedom and justice.

On Friday, April 23, the children of the Creswick Primary School, remembered the people who served our nation, by laying a wreath at the Creswick War Memorial.

Ode of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them
