2Up

It is a game that is synonymous with Anzac Day.
In most parts of Australia, two-up is illegal on every day of the year except the anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign.

• The game of two-up is synonymous with Australian soldiers, but was not invented by them
• It was the game of choice for returned servicemen in the post-war years and later picked up by miners
• Two-up become a pastime on Anzac Day where it recognises the Australian diggers' spirit
