Creswick Fire Brigade
The honour board would have hung in the fire station when it was in Water Street, this building was burnt down in 1935. The brigade had just moved all their photos and honour boards to the  upstairs part of the station when it was hit by lightning and the top storey burnt. Some things were saved but sadly they lost a lot of pictures and certificates as well as the honor board. That is why the photo of Officer Marshall looks a bit singed, he was in the fire. This now hangs in the new Fire Station in Albert Street.

Ode of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them
