Stories from the Field of Crosses

The tradition of the Field of Crosses started in Creswick in 1964

The stories of the Crosses remember those men and women from Creswick and District who served during war time, returned to Australia and passed away during peace time.

If you know of any of the soldiers listed below please take a copy of the form and provide as much of their history as possible. A photo of the soldier in uniform would be a great addition to their story.

Surnames in RED will be linked to their War Records via Discovering ANZAC's website once World War 2 and later conflicts are released.  ## = Killed in Action
First Names in RED have personal information that the family has provided.

Ode of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them
