25 April 2015 – Centenary of ANZAC Day Commemorations
Creswick-Smeaton RSL has set in place, plans to commemorate the Centenary of ANZAC Day in Creswick in 2015.
The commemoration will be CRESWICK-1915

There is also a Memorabilia page re commemorative items that will be available direct to the public as well as those that will be available through the RSL.
From April 2014, Creswick Museum will be putting on displays to commemorate 1915 and the following war years.
Information is being provided from various sources in assisting the public researching relatives who have served in past wars especially World War One. We will add these to our Research page as they come in.

Creswick's ANZAC Centenary Ambassador
The Minister of Veteran's Affairs Damian Drum MLC, last year invited participants of the Premier's Spirit of ANZAC Prize to assume a special role in the State's commemorative activity, as an ANZAC Centenary Ambassador.
Creswick's Caelli Greenbank, who was a participant in the Premier's Spirit of ANZAC Prize in 2007, has accepted the position as Creswick's ANZAC Centenary Ambassador.
Caelli was the RSL's Guest Speaker at the 2008 ANZAC Day service.
